    makes eating right easier

Published by Linda Galen on 2nd Aug 2020

I really like this cookbook! The recipes are easy to follow and the results of the recipes I've tried are delicious. Really like the lentil stew and lentil loaf. Also tried the shepherd's pie but not fond of the cauliflower mash topping. The only confusing piece is that some recipes call for ingredients that are on the avoid list for Type As, e.g., banana in peanut butter rice cakes. Also some ingredients aren't easy to find - still looking for pimento. And the non-secretor vs the secretor status is confusing and the user needs to purchase something further to determine this. Nonetheless I'm glad I purchased this cookbook and am relying on it frequently.

Great Recipe Book…..Makes it easier to improvise!!

Published by Arsinoe on 29th Oct 2014

This recipe book is wonderful. I just started the ER4YBT A regimen this year April. This book gives me the tools to work with, in preparing my meals. The recipes are easy to follow and the ingredients are very accessible. The bulk section of my grocery store saves me money. It is a little harder with my regular recipe books to improvise with the ingredients. With ER4YBT A recipe book, it is a lot easier for me to improvise with ingredients if needed. I thought I could never give up potatoes and yams. Since starting this regimen, I have tried at least 7 new types of squash. This does not include the four I have eaten for most of my life zucchini, yellow zucchini, butternut and acorn squash. Oh!…and of course the great pumpkin squash. This book has great tips for me. I am roasting more veggies than I use to. Now, when at the farmers market, I am buying more produce and just roasting them, bag them, refrigerate some for the week and freeze the rest. I even roast whole squash and they are easier to work with once roasted. This saves me loads of time when preparing these wonderful recipes. My two favorite dishes are the Forbidden Black Rice Risotto and the Parchment-Baked Snapper. I did improvise with the risotto. I also sautéed maitake and oyster mushrooms. I receive the book three weeks ago and I am using it on a daily basis. Thank you Kristin O’Connor for your hard work and giving me the perfect recipes to get me healthy again.
